Gregório Graziosi was selected to the residence programme of Cinéfondation, foundation under the aegis of Cannes Film Festival. 

Besides Gregório, the directors Ali Asgari (Iran), Nuno Baltazar (Portugal), Federico Cechetti (Mexico), Omar El Zorairy (Egypt) and Ivan Ikic (Serbia) will also take part in the next Residence session, to be held from mars to july 2016 in Paris. 

Gregorio's connection with Cinéfondation has begun in 2007, when the short film "Saga", which he directed with Thereza Menezes while in University, was exhibited in the Cinéfondation Session at the Cannes Film Festival. 

Through the Residence, directors find available a personalised programme accompanying the writing of their scripts, and a collective programme of forums with film industry professionals. 

A good example of a succesful product emerged from the Residence is  the hungarian movie Son of Saul, winner of the jury's Grand Prix in Cannes Film Festival 2015. The director László Nemes developed the scenario during his stay at the Residence in 2011.
